Memory upgrades, hard drive upgrades, software upgrades, PC installations, investigation of hardware malfunctions and/or performance issues. Educational "how to" sessions for any recurring fixes/maintenance and for operation of any new hardware or software installed by Nothing But Net. Minimal support of any software beyond the Microsoft Windows family of operating systems will be offered and is limited solely to those packages with which Nothing But Net staff has experience.
Multi-node network design and installation (including wireless) utilizing Microsoft networking and standard TCP/IP. Network hardware upgrades, testing and troubleshooting of data wiring and/or connectivity problems, creation of network maps of existing infrastructure or to document new additions, shared server installation, shared printer installation, backup of shared data. |
Design, creation, and maintenance of web pages as part of an Internet web site and/or for internal (Intranet) documentation and information dissemination.
Troubleshoot existing Internet Service Provider (ISP) connection, coordinate upgrade or installation of new ISP equipment/connection, assist with planning of future bandwidth requirements and redundancy/failover.
Assist with establishing and documenting company security guidelines and plan for current and future security needs. Installation of security infrastructure components which may include anti-virus software, intrusion detection systems, and firewall(s). Incident response if breaches occur. Log maintenance and log-based reporting at regular intervals if desired. |
